Tell us about your children:
I have three kiddos. My oldest is Minnie, a sweet and passionate 5-year-old that can’t wait to grow up and be a mommy. Then comes James, a tender-hearted 3-year-old, who melts my heart when he gives me a big hug and says, “I love you, Mommy.” And last, but certainly not least, is John-Oliver, a spirited 1-year-old who is enamored by his big sister and loves to give kisses.

Do you have any advice for new moms:
Find ways to point them to Jesus every day.
Tell us about your adventures of starting your own company:
Well, I was four months pregnant with Minnie and cleaning my kitchen floor, when it occurred to me that I wasn’t sure how I was going to clean with a newborn at my feet nor with a toddler who wanted to help me clean. I started looking into the ingredients that I was using day in and out to clean my home and I didn’t like what I found.
So I started on a journey to make my own. My company is Red’s Gone Green and we are an online boutique that sells pure botanical household cleaners. They are all natural and crafted by hand using essential oils. The biggest compliment we receive is the way they smell – which is awesome, because I won’t sell a product that I’m not obsessed with using myself.
How do you juggle working and being a mom:
I don’t really! It’s hard and sometimes something’s got to give. Sometimes it’s putting the business on the backburner. And sometimes it’s letting my kids watch too much TV.
Tell us about your husband:
He is my hero! He is more than I could have asked for or dreamed of in a husband. I love hanging out with him. He is a Godly man who puts my needs before his own. He supports me in my business and helps me with the kids, even though he himself runs his own business. He’s a wonderful daddy and our kids adore him!
Best parenting or life advice you have been given:
I’m not sure where I heard it from, but I tell my kids a lot that I am proud of them. I’m sure someone told me that awhile back, and I think kids need to hear that from their parents.
